Monserrat López Pérez

Student Assistant

Monserrat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science for Public Policy at the Hertie School, and is a Data for Good Scholarship holder.

She has over six years of professional experience conducting data-driven research and policy analysis in Mexican think tanks. Her research interests include the digital economy, internet policy, and the use of data and technology for social good.

Monserrat has been working as a student assistant “Digital Economy, Internet Ecosystem, and Internet Policy”at the Weizenbaum Institute since July 2024.
