Aaron Kolleck studied economics at the Humboldt University in Berlin, at the University of Copenhagen and the Aarhus University in Denmark. His studies focused on behavioral economics and the IT-based, empirical observation of decision making in large data sets. Prior to joining the Weizenbaum Institute, he worked in the financial sector and a leading business- and management consultancy, providing advice for corporations, associations and public sector companies.
Fields of Research
Aaron’s research focuses on the Sharing Economy. He is particularly interested in the behavior of individuals in platform-based markets and the economic effects of the sharing economy. His research is largely empirical.
